One of the most loosely used words in modern English is the term Christian.

It has been applied to almost everyone from the faithful member of the church, to the non-religious moral man, who holds as his greatest attributes that he provides for his family & doesn't mistreat his wife.

In this present generation multiplied thousands who consider themselves Christians, have no idea what the Bible actually teaches on this vital subject.

Merely believing in Christ does not make one a chil...

THE SILENT SERMON

 A member of a certain church, who previously had been attending services regularly, stopped going.  After a few weeks, the pastor decided to visit him.

It was a chilly evening. The pastor found the man at home alone, sitting before a blazing fire. Guessing the reason for his pastor's visit, the man welcomed him, led him to a comfortable chair near the fireplace and waited.

A Thought

Life is full of choices. Can we know with certainty what God wants us to do?

Perhaps we do not fully understand how God guides us day by day.

The Bible shows us that as we do what God has clearly told us to do, He will, in His own time and way, make sure that we do not miss what He has planned for us.


Our job is to trust Him, submit, pray, and walk in obedience.

Sounds easy enough doesn't it?

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ

I'd like to talk a little about God's Word and man's tradition. I will make it simple so a child can understand.

Let's begin with the old testament. Before Jesus came to earth & died on the cross for the sins of the world, God's people went to the High Priest which God had put in place for His people to come to & offer up their sacrifices for sin.

Being a Minister & Pastor I must say I notice a lot of things. For instance, people are always asking me what religion I am. Their reaction will always depend upon the answer I give to them. Again for instance, if I answer the question with the statement Baptist it is accepted without question.
